Entry Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Please read these Pay & Play Terms & Conditions carefully. You (and everyone in your group) will be asked to agree to these terms before entering Mega Kids World.

 

 

2. Interpretation

- “We”, “us”, “our” refers to Mega Kids World Ltd.

- “You”, “your” refers to the customer(s) and their group, including children and accompanying adults.

 

 

3. Rules of Play & Supervision

- All children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult (18+).

- Adults are responsible for ensuring their children use equipment safely and follow posted rules (e.g. height/age restrictions).

- Use of equipment is at your own risk. Mega Kids World accepts no liability for misuse or failure to follow rules.

- No food, drink, gum, glass or sharp items inside the play area.

- Spectacles are allowed only with retainers or shatterproof lenses.

- Shoes must be removed when going into the play area; socks must be worn at all times.

- Jewellery and loose items should be left with adults to avoid injuries in the play area.

- Long sleeves and trousers recommended for friction protection on the frames.

- No climbing on nets or external structures, no throwing of objects.

- No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or recreational drugs on the premises. Anyone under the influence may be asked to leave.

- Abusive /aggressive behaviour or any type of sexual harassment towards Mega Kids World Play staff, management or other guests from either children or adults will not be tolerated under any circumstances – management reserve the right to enforce total bans. Please report any behaviour concerns to a member of staff. Do not intervene yourself.

- Follow all posted signage. Entry/exit only via staff-monitored doors.

- All height and age restrictions on rides and equipment imposed by the management must be adhered to. Height restrictions are in place for your safety; the operators and management do not have the authority to override them. Please do not place them in a difficult position.

 

 

4. Food & Drinks

- Only food and drink purchased on the premises can be eaten on site. It is, however, permitted to bring food and drink for babies under 1 and children with special dietary requirements.

- For any children who have severe allergies or special dietary requirements, guests must notify the centre in advance and receive confirmation of allowance before bringing in any external food or drinks.

 

 

5. Personal Belongings

Mega Kids World Ltd accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, including valuables, bags, or prams. All personal items remain the responsibility of their owners at all times.

 

 

6. Bookings & Cancellations

- Pay & Play bookings require full payment at booking—non-refundable.

- If unable to attend due to illness, you may postpone up to 3 months ahead with at least 3 hours’ notice—via telephone only during opening hours.

- No cooling-off period applies.

- Proof of your booking will be required upon entry.

- Entry will only be valid on the day/time detailed on your booking confirmation.

- You may be asked to verify your child’s age on entry (a photo or scanned copy of their ID might be needed to verify the age in special circumstances)

- Birthday Party booking & cancellation rules are different and can be found on our website and further into this document.

 

 

7. Illness Policy

- We ask that customers do not attend Mega Kids World if you or anyone in your booking group have had any sickness or other symptoms of a potentially contagious illness or disease in the least 48 hours. Please call the office to reschedule your booking if anyone in the party is unwell or showing any symptoms of illness.

- Anyone becoming unwell during the visit may be asked to leave for the safety of others.

- Parents/carers should ensure toilet visits and supervise nappy using/changing in designated toilet areas. Dispose of nappies in bins provided.

- Follow the illness postponement policy above at point 6.

 

 

8. Hygiene & Sanitation

- All visitors are required to sanitise their hands upon entry to help maintain a clean and safe environment.

- Hand sanitising stations are available throughout the facility.

- Shoes must be removed before entering any play zones. Socks must be worn at all times in the play areas.

- Nappies must be disposed of in designated bins.

- We follow strict cleaning and sanitation routines across all areas of the facility to ensure a hygienic environment for our guests.

 

 

9. Lost Child Procedure

- If a child becomes separated from their parent or guardian, please notify a member of staff immediately.

- Our team will follow our Lost Child Procedure, which may include a temporary lockdown of entry and exit points to secure the premises.

- Children will only be reunited with their parent or guardian once our team is satisfied with the identification process and safety checks.

 

 

10. Staff Authority & Intervention

- Our trained staff have the authority to intervene where necessary to maintain the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all visitors.

- This may involve temporarily removing a child or guest from the play area or, in serious cases, asking individuals to leave the premises.

- Guests must follow staff instructions at all times.

- We reserve the right to remove any guest refusing to comply with staff instructions.

 

 

11. Fire Safety & Emergency Procedures

- Fire exits are clearly marked throughout the facility and must remain unobstructed at all times.

- In the event of a fire or other emergency, guests must leave the premises immediately via the nearest exit and must not re-enter until authorised by staff or emergency services.

- Regular fire drills and safety checks are carried out to ensure readiness and compliance with safety regulations

- Fire extinguishers and alarms are maintained and monitored in accordance with safety requirements.

- Please follow all staff instructions carefully during any emergency situation.

 

 

12. Admission & Refusals

At Mega Kids World Ltd, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive, family-focused leisure venue. We aim to provide a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for all families. To help maintain this atmosphere, we reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel any booking—without refund—under the following circumstances:

- All-Adult Bookings: All bookings must include at least one child aged 13 or under.

- Inappropriate Booking Intentions: If we believe your visit does not align with our family-oriented values, we reserve the right to decline or cancel your booking.

- Disruptive Guests: Any individual or group we feel may negatively impact the experience of other guests may be refused entry.

- Abuse Toward Staff: We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward verbal or physical abuse directed at our team before or during your visit.

- Harassment: Any form of harassment—verbal, physical, or sexual—toward our team or other guests will result in removal from the premises.

- Criminal Background Restrictions: We do not knowingly allow entry to anyone who:

- Has an unspent criminal conviction.

- Appears on any criminal or sex offender register.

- Is the subject of a court order or restriction related to antisocial behaviour, violence, abuse, or public disorder.

- Is a convicted sex offender under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

- Is subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice.

If this information is not disclosed by you or a member of your party and later comes to our attention, we reserve the right to immediately cancel your booking and remove you and your group from the venue without refund.

 

 

13. Risk & Liability Notice

Mega Kids World Ltd is fully insured for public liability. We accept no responsibility for injury unless proven due to our negligence.

Play at Mega Kids World involves inherent risks, including:

- Minor injuries (e.g., cuts, scratches, bruises)

- More serious injuries (e.g., concussion, back or eye injuries)

- In rare cases, catastrophic injuries (e.g., paralysis, death)

 

By entering the premises, you and all members of your group:

- Fully accept and assume all associated risks of play

- Release Mega Kids World Ltd from any liability for injury or loss, except where caused by proven negligence on our part

 

For your safety and peace of mind:

- A qualified first aider is always present on site during opening hours

- We have a designated first aid room for dealing with minor injuries

- In the event of illness or injury, please notify a staff member immediately

- We will assist to the best of our ability, within the limits of our training and equipment

- If the situation is beyond our capacity to manage, emergency services will be contacted to assist as needed

 

 

14. Force Majeure

In this section and throughout these Terms and Conditions, a "force majeure event" refers to any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Mega Kids World Ltd.

- If a force majeure event causes a delay or prevents us from fulfilling our obligations, those obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.

 

In the event of a force majeure:

- Special event bookings will be rescheduled to a future date.

- Standard general admissions and party bookings will also be rescheduled to a mutually convenient time.

- Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances unless otherwise specified.

 

 

15. Privacy

At Mega Kids World Ltd, we take your privacy seriously. Any personal information you provide to us—whether through bookings, CCTV, or communication—is handled in accordance with current data protection regulations. We only collect, use, and store your data when necessary to provide our services and ensure the safety of our guests.

16. Play Pass (Membership) Terms

Mega Kids World Ltd offers memberships and play passes to give families great value and flexible access to our facilities. Each option comes with its own terms, including usage limits, booking requirements, and cancellation policies.

By purchasing or using a membership or play pass, you agree to abide by all applicable terms and conditions.

17. Accessibility

Mega Kids World Ltd is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests.

- The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and equipped with accessible toilet facilities.

- Guests with mobility or neurodiverse requirements are encouraged to contact us in advance so we can provide appropriate support.

- Sensory-friendly sessions are held weekly—please refer to our schedule or contact us directly for further details.

 

 

18. Photography & Video Recording

The privacy and safety of our guests are our priority.

- Guests may take photographs or videos only of members within their own group.

- Filming or photographing other children, staff, or visitors without explicit permission is strictly prohibited.

- From time to time, our staff may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. We will always obtain prior consent from parents or guardians before capturing identifiable images of children.

 

 

19. Pets Policy

For hygiene and safety reasons, no pets are allowed on the premises, with the exception of certified assistance dogs.

 

 

20. CCTV

Mega Kids World Ltd operates 24/7 CCTV surveillance throughout the premises. This is in place to ensure the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property. Footage is recorded and may be reviewed in the event of an incident, dispute, or for general safety monitoring. By entering the premises, you acknowledge and consent to being recorded for these purposes. All CCTV footage is stored securely and handled in accordance with data protection laws.

 

 

21. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions. The current version will be posted on our website and at reception.
