Facilities + Accessibility
At Mega Kids World, we believe play should be for everyone. We are committed to making our facilities as accessible, welcoming, and comfortable as possible for all children, parents, carers, and visitors.
Accessible Play Sessions (SEN Sessions)
- We run dedicated accessible play sessions every Thursday, alternating between morning and afternoon so everyone has a fair chance to attend.
- These sessions are designed with a calmer environment, reduced capacity, and a more relaxed pace of play.
Our site includes:
- Step-free access at the main entrance and throughout the building.
- Wide doorways and open-plan areas for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
- Accessible toilet with grab rails and an emergency pull cord.
- Dedicated Blue Badge parking bays located close to the entrance.
- Ground floor seating for those unable to use the stairs to the upstairs seating area.
- Assistance animals are welcome in all public areas.
If you have specific mobility needs, please contact us in advance so we can provide tailored assistance.
Neurodiversity & Sensory Considerations
We understand that some children may be sensitive to noise, light, or crowds. To accommodate this:
- We offer quieter play sessions every thursday (check special events calender to book)
- Low-stimulation zones are available for short breaks when needed
- Staff are trained to support children with autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse needs
If you would like to book a quieter session or discuss any particular requirements, we’re happy to help.
Parking & Transport
- Free on-site parking is available for all guests
- Reserved accessible parking spaces are clearly marked
Safety & Supervision
- All staff are DBS-checked and trained in child safeguarding
- The soft play area is CCTV-monitored
- First aiders are always on-site during opening hours
- Emergency exits are clearly marked and accessible
Feedback & Support
If you have any concerns about accessibility or feel that your needs were not fully met, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We welcome feedback and are continually working to improve our services for all families.
