Party Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing to celebrate your special occasion with Mega Kids World. These Party Terms & Conditions apply to all party bookings. By making a booking, you agree to comply with these terms.

 

2. Booking, Deposits & Payment

- A 50% non-refundable deposit (based on your estimated number of children) is required to secure your booking.

- Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

 

Final Payment Requirement

- The remaining balance and final guest numbers must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to your party date.

- If full payment has not been received before your party start time, your party will not be permitted to go ahead. Entry will be refused until full payment is made.

- Payment must be completed before access to the party or facilities is granted.

 

After Final Payment

Once full payment has been made:

- No reductions in numbers are permitted

- No refunds will be issued for non-attending guests under any circumstances

 

Additional Guests

- Additional children may be added up to 24 hours before the party, subject to availability.

- Additional guests will be charged at the standard party rate.

 

 

3. Waivers & Check-In

- A waiver form will be provided after booking. The party organiser is responsible for sharing this with all attendees prior to the party.

- On arrival, all guests must sign in using the designated party sign-in sheet.

- By signing in, parents/guardians confirm acceptance of the waiver and terms.

- Any child without a completed sign-in/waiver will not be permitted to use the play equipment.

 

 

4. Arrival & Party Access

- The party organiser must arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the party start time, unless otherwise agreed with management.

- This ensures time to prepare and allows previous parties to finish safely.

- Late arrival will not extend your party time.

 

Party Rooms & Belongings

- Your party room is available for the duration of your booking only.

- All personal belongings are left entirely at your own risk.

- Mega Kids World accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage.

- CCTV is in operation throughout the facility, including party rooms, for safety and security purposes.

 

Play Session

- Once your party moves into the party room for food and cake, playtime ends and will not resume.

 

 

5. Food, Drink & Cake Policy

Food & Drink

- Only food and drink purchased at Mega Kids World may be consumed on the premises.

- This includes all drinks.

 

Allergies

- We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements if notified at least 7 days in advance.

- In cases of severe allergies, where we are unable to safely provide suitable food:

- Food may be brought in for that individual child only, with prior agreement

- No other external food or drink is permitted under any circumstances.

 

Cakes (Strict Policy)

Cakes must comply with UK food safety regulations:

- Shop-bought cakes in original packaging

- Professionally made cakes with full allergen labelling

- Homemade cakes are not permitted

 

Cake Handling

- Cakes are NOT permitted to be eaten on site under any circumstances.

- All cakes will be taken to the kitchen, cut, and wrapped by staff, then returned to you to take home.

- You will be asked how many portions are required.

- If you require specific boxes, bags, or themed napkins, these must be provided by you.

 

Knife Policy

- Knives are strictly prohibited from being brought onto the premises by customers.

- All cake cutting will be carried out by Mega Kids World staff only.

 

 

6. Decorations

You may bring:

- Freestanding balloons (helium or air-filled)

- Tablecloths

 

The following are strictly prohibited:

- Anything attached to walls, windows, ceilings, or fixtures

- Confetti balloons

- Balloon garlands

- Hanging decorations

This is to protect the facility and ensure safety.

 

Removal of Decorations

- All decorations brought in must be removed by the party organiser at the end of the session, unless otherwise agreed with management.

 

What We Provide

- Standard party rooms include basic birthday decorations, such as a “Happy Birthday” banner and balloons.

 

 

7. Supervision

- All children must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.

- Mega Kids World staff do not provide childcare or supervision.

- The party organiser is responsible for ensuring all guests follow the Rules of Play.

 

 

8. Final Numbers, Payments & Refund Policy

- Final numbers and full payment must be received 7 days prior to the party.

Once payment has been made:

- No refunds will be issued

- No reductions will be made for non-attending guests

- This policy applies in all circumstances, including illness or last-minute cancellations.

 

 

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

- All deposits are non-refundable.

 

Rescheduling

- Parties may be rescheduled with a minimum of 5 days’ notice, subject to availability.

- Rescheduling is offered at management discretion and may only be permitted once.

 

Cancellations

If you cancel your party:

- More than 7 days’ notice: deposit retained

- Less than 7 days’ notice: all payments (including final balance) are non-refundable

- Failure to attend or failure to pay on time will be treated as a cancellation and no refunds will be issued.

 

 

10. Conduct & Safety

- All guests must comply with Mega Kids World Rules of Play.

- Any behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or abusive may result in guests being asked to leave.

- No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.

 

 

11. Force Majeure

- In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g. severe weather, technical failure), parties will be rescheduled to a future date.

- Refunds will not be provided.
