Your Mega Kids World Questions – Answered!
Do I need to book in advance, or can I just turn up?
We always recommend booking in advance, especially during weekends and school holidays, as sessions can fill up quickly. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, but pre-booking guarantees your entry.
What age range is Mega Kids World suitable for?
Mega Kids World is designed for children aged 0–12 years. We have dedicated areas to suit different age groups, so whether your child is crawling, climbing, or racing to the top of the slide, they’ll find plenty to explore safely.
Do adults need to pay an entry fee, and why?
Yes, adults do pay a small entry fee (£3 off-peak, £4 peak) to help cover our overheads. This includes free Wi-Fi, comfortable heated or air-conditioned seating areas, on-site parking, and clean, well-maintained facilities for your comfort while your little ones play.
How long are the play sessions?
Each session lasts 2 hours. We have 4 sessions per day, with a 30-minute break in between for thorough cleaning.
Can I extend my play session if my child doesn’t want to leave?
Yes, if we have space available. You can either book back-to-back sessions online in advance or ask a member of staff on the day to extend your stay.
Is there a café on-site?
Yes, our café serves a selection of freshly baked goods, hot and cold food, snacks, and a wide range of drinks for adults and children. You can view our full menu on our page. We will also have a variety of bakes available every day.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No outside food or drinks are allowed, except for baby food or severe allergy-specific items. If your child has allergies, please contact us before your visit so we can discuss arrangements.
Do you cater for allergies or special dietary needs?
Yes, our café offers allergy-friendly options where possible, but we need to know about any allergies when you book. If we’re unable to cater for specific needs, we’ll allow parents to bring suitable food, provided this is agreed in advance.
Do children need to be supervised by an adult at all times?
Yes, all children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while in the play centre.
Are socks required?
Yes, socks must be worn by both children and adults at all times in the play area for hygiene and safety. If you forget, socks are available to buy at reception.
Can I pay with cash?
Yes, we accept both cash and card payments. If you want to book your tickets and pay by cash, please call us to reserve your space and you can pay cash at the door upon entry.
Is there parking available?
Yes! We have onsite car parking available for all our guests, making your visit as easy and stress-free as possible. If our parking is full, there are various other parking spaces available down Little End Road, but parking there is subject to your own risk.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi throughout the centre so you can relax while your children play.
Do you have first aid staff on-site?
Yes – we always have a designated first aider available during every session and a first aid room to deal with any incidents that may happen.
Can I book a large group or school visit?
Yes – for large bookings or exclusive hire please give us a call, drop us an email, or fill out the contact form where a member of our team will contact you.
Do you host special seasonal events?
Yes! We will be hosting exciting seasonal events such as Halloween discos and Christmas grottos. Check our Special Events Calendar for upcoming dates and booking details.
Are adult tickets included in special event bookings?
Yes, every child ticket includes one adult free of charge. For example, if you buy 3 tickets, you can bring 3 adults at no extra cost.
Do I need to pay a deposit for parties?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required when booking your party, with the remaining balance due at least 7 days before the event. Alternatively, you can pay the full amount when booking online.
Can I bring my own cake or decorations?
Yes, you can bring your own cake, and we’ll take care of the rest, including tableware and setup. For decorations, please check our party package details for any restrictions.
