Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

At Mega Kids World Ltd, we love seeing our visitors return again and again, and our membership options are designed to offer fantastic value for families, childminders, and regular guests.
These Membership Terms & Conditions set out the rules for purchasing, holding, and using any of our membership products.

By purchasing a membership, you agree to:

- Abide by these Membership Terms & Conditions.

- Follow our General Terms & Conditions of Entry and Rules of Play, which apply to all visitors.

Our aim is to keep Mega Kids World a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for everyone – so we ask all members to enjoy their visits responsibly and with respect for others.

 

 

2. Booking & Deposits

- Membership Assignment – All memberships are valid only for the named child or childminder stated at the time of purchase and are non-transferable.

- Adult Admission – Memberships include entry for one child and one accompanying adult per visit (unless otherwise stated). The accompanying adult can change between visits.

- Validity – Memberships are valid for the period purchased (monthly or annually) and will not be extended due to missed visits.

- Non-Refundable – Memberships are non-refundable, except where required by law.

- Behaviour & Safety – All visitors must follow our Rules of Play. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate memberships without refund for unsafe, abusive, or disruptive behaviour.

- Lost or Stolen Passes – Replacement fees may apply if a membership card or digital pass is lost.

- Booking & Capacity – Entry is subject to capacity limits. Some membership types require advance booking.

- Special Events – Unless otherwise stated, special events are NOT included in standard membership benefits and may require an additional fee.

- Proof of Identity – We may ask for ID to confirm membership validity for the child.

- Changes to Memberships – We reserve the right to change membership prices, benefits, or terms with reasonable notice.

 

 

3. Off-Peak Monthly Play Membership

- Validity – Monday to Friday during term time only.

- Unlimited Play – You may stay and play for the entire day during your visit.

- Admission – One named child plus one adult per visit. The adult may change each visit.

- Non-Transferable – Membership applies only to the named child.

 

 

4. Peak Monthly Play Membership

- Validity – All day, any day, including weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays.

- Unlimited Play – You may stay and play for the entire day during your visit.

- Admission – One named child plus one adult per visit. The adult may change each visit.

- Non-Transferable – Membership applies only to the named child.

 

 

5. Annual Play Membership

- Validity – All day, any day, including weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays, for 12 consecutive months.

- Admission – One named child plus one adult per visit. The adult may change each visit.

- Non-Transferable – Membership applies only to the named child.

- Perks: Birthday child receives free entry to their booked Mega Kids World party & 10% discount on selected special events.

 

 

6. Childminder Monthly Play Membership

- Validity – All day, any day, including weekends and school holidays.

- Admission – One named registered childminder plus up to 4 children per visit. Additional children charged at half-price entry.

- Booking Requirement – Childminders must call ahead to reserve space.

- Proof of Status – If you cannot confirm or maintain proof of registered childminder status at any time during the membership, we reserve the right to revoke the membership without refund.

- Booking Instructions – Book one ticket online using your own name in place of the child’s name.

- Non-Transferable – Membership applies only to the named childminder.

 

 

7. Direct Debit Play Pass

- In-person registration only – this membership cannot be purchased or renewed online. All sign-ups must be completed at our centre so we can securely set up your Direct Debit and verify your details.

- Minimum term: 6-month commitment from the date of your first payment.

- Monthly Fee: £27 per month for the first child, £22 per month for each additional sibling.

- Payments are collected automatically each month via Direct Debit through our authorised payment processor in accordance with the Direct Debit Guarantee (a copy of which will be provided to you at sign-up).

- You must provide valid UK bank account details in your own name (or a name authorised to make payments on your behalf).

- If a payment fails, we will contact you to arrange payment. If payments remain outstanding for more than 14 days, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your membership.

- Your membership is non-transferable and valid only for the named child(ren) on the agreement.

- Cancellation Policy: After the initial 6-month term, you may cancel your membership at any time by giving 30 days’ notice to our centre. No refunds will be given for part months.

- We reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time if you breach these terms or misuse the membership.

- By signing up, you agree that your personal and payment details will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy (available on our website).

 

 

8. Force Majeure

If a force majeure event (an event beyond our reasonable control) prevents or delays us from providing access or fulfilling our obligations under this membership, those obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event. Examples include, but are not limited to, extreme weather, government restrictions, public health emergencies, utility outages, or unforeseen facility closures. In such cases:

- For temporary closures, we will extend your membership or reschedule access where possible to ensure you receive full value.

- No refunds will be issued unless otherwise required by law.
